Claims not paid by insurance are the financial responsibility of the client. I accept self pay clients who do not use insurance. I do not accept HMO plans, Medicaid, or Medicare.


Helpful Terms:

  • Co-pay : This is usually a flat fee paid by the client (ex: $20.00).

  • Co-insurance: This is a percentage of the overall fee that the client is responsible for (ex: 20%).

  • Deductible: This is the dollar amount the client pays annually towards any medical services before their insurance plan starts to pay benefits. Many deductibles reset the first of the year.

  • Out-of-pocket maximum: This is the dollar amount that the client will maximally pay within the year. After it is met, any additional fees that year are covered by the insurance provider at no further cost to the client.
